The Framed! series by James Ponti is a middle-grade mystery trilogy following 12-year-old Florian Bates, a kid with a sharp eye for details who uses a technique called TOAST (Theory of All Small Things) to solve mysteries.

• Framed! – Florian and his best friend, Margaret, help the FBI solve an art heist using his TOAST method. When Florian gets recruited as a junior FBI consultant, he quickly learns that solving crimes can be dangerous.
