The Defender Book by Ana Huang

The story follows Vincent DuBois, the captain of the Blackcastle Football Club, who is forced into a forced-proximity living arrangement with his coach's daughter, Brooklyn Armstrong. Brooklyn is a sports nutritionist and Vincent's best friend's brother, and she finds his arrogance infuriating. The two engage in playful banter, but the simmering attraction between them is a forbidden temptation.
